1. Go to www.stumbleupon.com and click “Join for Free”
2. You have two options; Join using your Facebook account or regular email. Once you have entered your details click “Get Started”
3. Go to “Settings” located on the top right under the gear symbol. Fill out your information and preferences here.
4. your profile page. From here you can follow new people, update your interests and manage your likes.
5. Click the button on the top left to start your first “stumble”.

Stumble: Clicking this button will take you to a web page that is personalised to you based on your interests. It will display content from another website below but the toolbar will stay above.
Like: If the web page, image or video was to your liking you can click the “I like it!” button to show other users this content is epic.
Dislike: Not that interested? Click the thumbs down button to show your disproval. This will make the content show up less to other users.
Share: Found a great site but don’t want your friends to miss out? Click the “Share” button to share the content across a range of networks.
Comment: You can post your reaction to the page on the comments section which is shown with a speech bubble.
Interests: You can stumble new content by selecting from a list of all the interests.
Explore: As well as finding new content using the interests tab you can also find it using keywords/tags. Just enter your search time to find relevant content.
Notifications: Just like with Facebook or any other social network there is a notifications box. This will notify you of any updates such as a user liking your content or making a comment.
Settings: From here you can change your preferences, settings, help and the “sign out” button.
